How to Connect to WiFi on a Windows 10 PC
Connecting to WiFi on your Windows 10 PC is essential for accessing the internet wirelessly. Follow these steps to establish a successful connection:
- Access WiFi Networks:
- Locate the WiFi icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. The WiFi icon resembles a set of curved lines.
- Click on this icon to view the list of available WiFi networks.
- Select the Network:
- Identify and click on the "Naropa" network from the list of available networks.
- Enter your Naropa username and password when prompted.
- Exclude "@naropa.edu" from your username.
- Example usernames: firstname.lastname or flastname.
- Enter your Naropa password, used for email or my.naropa.edu login.
- Establish Connection:
- Wait for about 30 seconds for the connection to establish.
- Successful Connection:
- Congratulations! You are now connected to the Naropa network.
- Troubleshooting Connection Issues:
- If you encounter connection problems, ensure that you have entered your username and password correctly. Verify that the caps lock is turned off.
- If you see a "connected, no internet" status:
- Disconnect and wait for about 10 seconds before reconnecting.
- Right-click on the Naropa network and select 'Forget,' then re-enter your login credentials.
